TEST CRICKET
SELECTION OF AUSTRALIANS. KELLEWAY’S CONJECTURES. (Press Association —By Telegraph —Copyright.) LONDON, April 11. . (Received April 11, at 11.5 0.m.) • Kelleway, who has arrived in London, writes m the Sunday Express stating that he was most surprised to read Clem Hill’s article discussing the method of selection of the Australian team. He was surely indiscreet, as all sportsmen regarded the selection meetings as strictly confidential. Kelleway adds that the members of the team had an exceptionally lazy time during the voyage. They will reach England absolutely fit and well. He personally thought that the Australians Would do their best to adapt themselves early to the different conditions under which they would be playing if they were to retain the ashes. The Australian team would be a hard team to beat, but not nearly so hard as was the case during the previous tests, —A. and N.Z. Cable.
