SIGNOR MUSSOLINI
SYMPATHY OF BRITISH PEOPLE. MESSAGE FROM THE KING. (Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, j ROME, April 9. The doctors say that Signor Mussolini will not be disfigured. Before going to Tripoli he expressed particular gratification at- many messages of sympathy and regret from the British people. The Messagero, in an inspired statement, says the attention of foreign Governments should be called to the anti-Musso-lini and anti-Fascist campaign which is being conducted by a section of their press, as this is liable to cloud the cordial, relations which Italy desires to maintain with them.
LONDON, April 9. - The British Ambassador at Rome has been commanded to convey their Majesties’ regrets at the attempt on Signor Mussolini’s life.—Reuter.
