OPENING OF CANBERRA
ATTENDANCE OF ROYALTY. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LtDNDON, April 9. The press speculations Australia have now embraced all the eligible members of the Royal Family in Australia’s invitation officially to open Parliament at Canberra. It has been stated that the nature cf the reply will determine the date of the ceremony. The Dominions Office is not aware of any invitation. It states that it is usual to fix the date first, and then to issue the invitations, but it has received no communication It is unofficially suggested that it might be convenient for Mr Bruce to confer with Mr Amery and Mr Baldwin on the matter when he attends the Imperial Con-ference.—-A. and N.Z.
