THE MELBOURNE CONFERENCE. (Brett Aisooiatlon—By Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, April 9. (Reocived April 10, at 5.5 p.m.) Surge* n-general M W. Ireland and Mr J. J. Davis (Secretary of War) have recommended to the State Department that the United States should participate in the Tropical Medical Conference to be held at Melbourne in 1927. Mr Davis has asked the Philippine Government whether it will participate.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
