DISCIPLINARY MEASURES. LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLORS EXPELLED. (Pre»» Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 11. (Received April 11, at 5.5 p.m.) The Labour conference, after a heated and lengthy discussion decided to expel five .members of the Legislative Council— Messrs Lvons, Kelly, Akhurst. Smith and Murray—from the Labour movement for al. legedly betraying the workers in connection with the movement for the abolition of the Upper House. When summoned to appear before the conference, none of the expelled members put in an appearance. The conference 1 also decided to instruct the executive that Messrs Bailey, Bramston and Buckley, who were expelled in connection with the ballot-box scandals, should not be re-admitted to membership unless the conference instructed them.
