I» 3003 VISITORS DEPART. The railway passenger traffic to and from Dunedin on Saturday was exceptional. Seven expresses left the city carrying over 3000 passengers and five arrived bringing 2200 visitors. The departures, therefore, outnumbered the arrivals to the extent of almost 1000. In addition to the ordinary long distance expresses and relief trains, two excursion trains brought 1500 visitors to the Exhibition. One arrived from Timaru at 11.25 a.m. with 800 passengers and left again at 11 p.m., and the other brought 700 passengers from Seaward Bush at 11 a.m,. and left at 10 p.m. The following are the detailed figures of Saturday's long distance trains: INWARD From the North. 4.18 p.m 560 5.6 p.m 620 8.45 p.m 300 From the South. 11.15 a.m. ' 300 6.15 p.m 320 Total 2200 OUTWARD.
