THE WINTER SHOW.
The Otago A. and P. Committee has arranged with the directors of the Exhibition for the use of one of the largest pavilions, and the forxhcomiiis; winter show will this voui bo held at Park. The space available is more than double the area of the society's buildings in Crawford street, and consequently the committee will be in a position not only to provide space for all applicants, hut to give the general public a much better opportunity of inspecting the various exhibits entered for competition. The executive met representatives of ihe Manufacturers* Association at a_ conference. when it was decided that it would be iii the best interests of both the primarv producers, and the secondary industries that there should he a closer association between the two bodies, and it is expected that several of the manufacturers will he exhibitors at the show. The schedule has been carefully revised, and on the recommendation of several judges additional elitssi-s have been added The factory cheese and butter exhibits must reach Dunedin not later than April 17, when they will he placed in the cool stores until the date of the show, when rhe produce exhibited will he as near as possible in the same condition as if it had been shipped to London. Pirnßar conditions are being carried out with, the fruit that is being exhibited. The frail will he selected bv the Government graders from the different consignments ■bat n’-'- ('•■log shinned »*>,] will be judged and exhibited at the show Arrangements have been made with rhe Agricultural Department to retain the experimental plots, and officers of the department will give addresses a”d lectures at the Winter Show on the results a trained.
