SANDERS CUP TRIALS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—l see by your issue of the 28th a very neat little paragraph, compiled by your yachting correspondent, in connection with last Saturday's trial race. Your yachting scribe makes the statement that Kia Ora in last Saturday's race sailed over the Channel buoy. Now, on the face of it, this statement, as well as being erroneous, is absolutely ridiculous. If a. boat sailed over a channel buoy in the manner mentioned by "Rudder.” in a jobble like we had last Saturday, there would not be much of the boat left.—l am, etc., C. French.
