SCOUT JAMBOREE.

TAHUNA PARK CAMP. The elements have been kind to the promoters of the Boy Scout Camp at Tahuna Park, and another fine day was experience! yesterday. These favourable weather conditions have' greatiy facilitated the smooth running of camp routine and administration. The officers in charge have an arduous time getting things into order, but the camp has now settled down properly, and co-operation with their leaders on the part of the boys ip making the work of administration comparatively light. Major Turley reports that the camp has been remarkably free from cases of sickness and serious accident, and all the Scout under canvas have upheld the traditions of their movement as regards deportment and conduct. Yesterday the mom f t»g was devoted to the rehearsal of the forthcoming demonstration at the Exhibition. This function promises to be of a very high standard, if the work the boys are putting into it ran bo taken as a criterion. In the afternoon general leave was again granted. To-mor-row the, boys will be the guests of Mr P. R. Sargood at a garden party, after which they, will march back to camp through the town. In the evening a camp-fire sing-song was he’d, and was attended by a large number of friends and relatives of the boys. A very pleasant evening was spent, the boys taking particular pleasure in sponsoring their friends and visitors.
