PALMERSTON NORTH CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per United Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., January 13. The following are the results in the finals of the Palmerston North Tennis Cluo's championship: Men Singles.—Andrew (Palmerston North) defeated Bartlett (Auckland), 11—9, 4—6, 14—12. Ladies’ Doubles. —Mieses Macfarlane (Auckland) and Towry (Hawke’s Bay) defeated Hisses Calver (Wanganui) and Preedy (Wellington), 6—3, 6-—4. The Ladies' Singles between Misses Macfarlane and D. Nichols (Auckland), and the Men’s Doubles between Andrews and Lowry (Hawke’s Bay) v. Robson and Clark (Auckland), and also the mixed finals will be played to-morrow. Maifroy, the Domin’on boy champion, was beaten in the fourth round of an interesting match by Robson, 6—2, S —7, 6—3.
