BOXING.
LOVERIDOE BEATS HA’S. (Per United Press Association.) NAPIER, January 13. D Beveridge (New Plymouth), 10.5, and A, Hay (Hastings), 10.5, fought a 15-rounds professional contest to-night,-the verdict being in favour of Beveridge after an excellent fight. Tire decision found few to support it, the general opinion being that Hay got home by a fair margin.
