MARKETING WHEAT. NECESSITY OF CO-OPERATION. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, January 15. “Only in co-operative marketing and not in tariff juggling or Federal handling of crop surpluses lies the solution of the farmers’ problems,” said Mr Robert Bingham, of Louisville, chairman of the National Council of Farmers’ Co-operative Marketing Associations, at the annual session on Tuesday. Referring to Canada, Mr Bingham declared that Canadian wheat-growers were selling three-fourths of their crop in the world market with no Government surplus co-operation or tariff to help, and they were receiving greater returns than the 'United States growers.— Renter.
