DISARMAMENT COMMISMISSION.
POSTPONEMENT POSSIBLE. DISCUSgIONS PROGRESSING. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) GENEVA, January 13. (Received Jan. 13, at 7.15 p.m.) Mystery attaches to reports from London * and Paris stating that a postponement of the preparatory Disarmament Commission is possible. Observers here are inclined to believe that separate discussions are progressing between Washington and Paris, also London and Rome, for the purpose of settling the question oT a seperate naval parley, which the United States is understood to favour.
It is not believed that France, Japan, and Italy will change their views regarding the indivisibility of the whole armament problem but Great Britain will probably side with Washington.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
