NO-CONFIDENCE MOTION,
(Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) OTTAWA, January 12. (Received Jan. 13, at 9.26 mm.) A debate is proceeding in the House of Commons on a no-confidence motion of the Conservatives. The expectation is that a vote will be reached on Thursday or Friday. . Mr Hugh Guthrie, Solicitor-geenral m the late Conservative administration announced in the House that if the Government were defeated, and a Conservative administration formed, the latter would endeavour 1 to carry on from session to session without a dissolution. Mr Guthrie said he was speaking with the authority of the Conservative leader, Mr Meighen.— Reuter.
