“MR A” CASE WITNESS.
MR NEWTON CHANGES NAME. A notice in the London Gazette contains the information that Mr Montague Noel Newton, of Down street, Piccadilly, has taken the name of Montague Norman Nor- — nder a deed pool enrolled on August 13 last. M. fewton was the principal witness m the Mr A” case, which attracted attention in the beginning of the present year, when Mr Robinson sued the Midland Bank for the payment of a cheque for £150.000 drawn by an Eastern Rajah in favour of Mrs Robinson. Mr Newton was the principal witness called by the hank.
