EXPERIENCE PROVES. MORE TRUTHFUL TESTIMONY. Mr Matthew Lesniok, Domestic Relations Officer, Yonkers, New York, who has handled 6000 cases of domestic infelicity in his 14 years’ service, speaking of prohibition in the United States, says: “People do not like drastic interference with their habits, so there is more drunkenness. In 1917 87 cases of drunkeness were brought to this court. In 1924 there were 242 cases. This is caused bv the interference of the prohibition law.”
And yet the professional prohibitionists of Now Zealand ask you—in the face of such evidence as the foregoing— to sacrifice your personal rights and allow them to control your habits.—Advt.
