NEW YORK, October 19. (Received Oct. 20, at 5.5 p.m.) Wall street weathered another exciting Stock Exchange market. week’s fever has only slightly abated. Trading was demoralised at noon when a deluge of selling ordei-s sent pivotal issues, including motors, tottering, but powerful interests caused a rally in support of substantial railroad stocks. The total sales comprised 2,676,300 shares— a record for Monday trading,—A. and N.Z. Cable.
