RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES. (From Otra Own Cohsespondent.) CHBJSriXJHUEiCH, October 20. The weather was perfect at Ricearton for training operations tiu's morning. The sun shone out, and there was not a breath of wind. The tracks were in good order, but the times recorded were not fast. The trial grass track and the plough were open for fast work. Sun Up went six furlongs at abont threequarter pace. Forgery and The Cheat were given lenient tasks on the sand. Ahifca was given a working gallop over seven furlongs. The time was lmin 35sec. Equerry and Waikftia ran half a mile from the seven-furloug post to the halfmile disc. The time was 51sec Countersign held Solfello safe at the conelusion, of a dash over half a mile, which was run in 50 2 seoc. Philanderer beat Kukume by three lengths at the end of a working gallop over seven furlongs, which occupied lmin 32sec. Finora dashed over four furlongs in good stvlo in 50 l-s*ec.
