Victoria Hall was crowded on Saturday night, and a very pleasant evening- was spent hy the dancers present at Dixieland. The special request musical programme was much enjoyed, and the proceedings were enlivened by the presence of Fred Hayward’s Jazz Band, which played for several of the dances. Several other members of the company were also there after the theatre, and’ altogether the dance was very successful. A Maori halm, given by the students, was also much appreciated.
