BIG FOOTING IN INDIA. CALCUTTA, September 1. Jamsctji Ardaseer Wadia, of Bombay, promoter and director of industrial concerns, anl chairman of the Millowners’ Association, said yesterday that, so far this year, the imports of Japanese piecegoods into India had been more than four times those of Britain. Such a state of affairs, he declared, was as much a menace to Lancashire as it was to India, and he therefore intended to visit England in order to enlist support from Manchester
