ATTEMPTED MURDER. BEST SENT TO GAOL. (Per United Press Association.' AUCKLAND. August 5 Albert Edward Best, aged 26 years, who was found guilty of attempting to murder his sister hy rutting her throat with a Timor, was sentenced to five years' imprisonment. Mr Justice Ilerdman said that his only course was to impose a substantial term. If Best had exorcised a little more pressure with the razor the girl would have been killed instantaneously.
