TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —l should like to supplement Mr Forbes’s letter. One fact is sufficient, and it is that a person wrote to many medical missionories in various parts of the world asking if the residents in their countries were subject to appendicitis, and the replies show that where animal foods were not used the disease was practically nonexistent. This will suffice for those who value health before giving way to their desires.—l am, etc., Natural Foods. St. Clair, August 5.
