CHILD’S BODY FOUND. INQUEST ADJOURNED. POLICE FLAKING INQUIRIES, (Peh United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH,. August 4. “I am not going to close this inquest yet. - I will adjourn it for a fortnight, and the' police can make further inquiries,' 1 said the Coroner (Mr H. Y l . Widdowson), at an inquest this afternoon into the circumstances surrounding tho death of an unknown child which was found on tho bank of the River Heathcote at Beckenham yesterday. Evidence was given by Dr Pearson that death was duo to heart failure following exposure. A FATAL FALL. ELDERLY MAN’S DEATH. (Peb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 4. Enoch Wilson, aged 77, died in hospital from injuries caused by a fall on a concrete path.
