Mr Hudson will ask the Minister jf Public Works whether his attention had been called to the production of mammolite cement, and the great and extensive possibilities claimed for this new materiai for building and other purposes? ROSS SEA WHALING INDUSTRY. Mr Holland wants to know whether any payment is made to the New Zealand Government by the Norwegian Ross Sea Whaling Company, and if so what is the amount? Mr Holland also wishes to know whether there is any truth in the statement recently made by certain whaling people that the whales in Ross Sea (which is' now the only whale sanctuary) are in danger of being exterminated within the next four or five years?
