Bombay’s population is the most crowded of any in the world. There is one house with 691 inhabitants and another with 663. Umbrellas arc now being sold in brighter colours than ever in Great Britain. Scarlet and emerald are both favgourite shades. Handles are also facing adorned with china heads. Ooii discovered while laying a sower in a busy street in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire Scotland, is being dug up at the rat>- of ni.m or ten tons a .day. The pit is 35ft deep.
