The above Rate to be Payable in One Sum. on the twelfth day of AUGUST, 1925. A HOSPITAL RATE, under Section 41, Subsection 9, of “ The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” and Section 2 of “The Rating Amendment Act, 1915,” for the year commencing Ist April, 1925, and ending 31st March, 1925, a Rate of one penny and seven sixtieths of one penny in the pound (£) on the Rateable Value on the Valuation Roll of all Rateable Property within the Borough of St. Hilda. The above Rate to be Payable in One Sum on the first day of SEPTEMBER, 1925. WATER RATE, under Section 84 of “ 'The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” in respect to ordinary supply, (a) Upon all lands and buildings to which water is supplied, a Kate of one penny and seven-tenths of one penny (17-10 d) in the pound (£) on the Unimproved Value, not exceeding the equivalent of a rate of one penny in the pound (£) on the Capital Value of such Lands and Buildings, but so that where such a Rate would be loss than ten shillings, shall be made and levied. (b) Upon all Lands and Buildings to which water can be, but is not supplied, situated within one hundred yards _ of the waterworks, a Rato not exceeding one-half of the Rates mentioned above. (c.) On all Buildings used as Stores or Warehouses, or any purpose other than as Dwelling-houses, a Rate not exceeding one-half of the Rates mentioned in paragraph (a) hereof.
