The Duke and Duchess of York were the guests of the Australian and New Zealand Luncheon Club at the Hotel Cecil. Mr J. Howard Ferguson (Premier of Ontario) was present. Major-general Sir Newton Moore proposed the health of the Dnke and I)ucliess of York, lie paid a tribute to the Prince of Wales's ambassadorial value in binding the ties of the Empire. He said that be looked forward to the time when Australia and New Zealand would be honoured by a visit from the Duke and Duchess of York, whose welcome would not fall short of that given to the Prince of Wales. The Duke of York laughingly said that he felt that the Prince of Wales had an unfair advantage, because he greeted overseas visitors with a knowledge of them and their countries. “My wife and 1," he said, “by visits to Wembley are trying to supplement our knowledge, but I am still acting the part of Cinderella, who was told wonderful stories of a world she was not permitted to enter.
