THE NEW ZEALAND AND SOUTH SEAS EXHIBITION.
REPORT OF EDUCATION COMMITTEE. Tho Education Committee of tho New Zealand and South feeas Exhibition has now practically decided on the lay-out of the new area allocated to it in tho motor pavilion. Adequate provision has been made for the class rooms and a large central demonstration area, whore it is hoped classes will bo seen at work on all days when schools are open throughout the Exhibition. A strong organising committee has been appointed which will map out a programme of daily activities for tho period of tho Exhibition. Tho response from education bodies to the a peal for funds has already assured £2OOO of the. requires! sum of £3OOO. Tho response on the part of school committees in Dunedin and suburbs is specially appreciated. Several applications for the position of organiser will be considered next week. Members of the committee have met representatives of the women’s section, and the result should make for mutual cooperation wherever necessary. Tho committee has fixed October 10 ns the latest date for the receipt of exhibits in Dunedin.
