PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY .GIVEN that the Mosgiel Borough Council, at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose, and hold on WEDNESDAY, the Ist of July, 1925, Passed the following Resolution to operate as a Special Order, and will be sumbitted for CONFIRMATION at a SPECIAL MEETING of the Council to he held in the Council Chambers on WEDNESDAY, the 29th day of July, 1925, at 7.3 d p-m. “ Resolved, by way of special resolution, bo operate as a Special Order, that the Council of the Borough of Mosgiel, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ‘The Local Bodies Loan Act. 1913,” raise a special loan of £4OOO (four thousand pounds), to bo called ‘ The Drain age and Water Works Renewal Loan, 1925,’ for the purpose of paying off the special loan of £4OOO (four thousand pounds) heretofore raised bv the Council, known as the Drainage and Water Works Renewal Loan, which is due and payable on the Ist day of August, 1925. “ That such Loan bo raised by the creation of and issue of Forty Debentures of £IOO each, bearing inf crest, at the rate of five and ono-half per centum per annum per cent, per annum), and having a currency of 10 years from the Ist day of August, 1525, secured on the drainage and water works of the Borough and a revenue therefrom, and the general rates and revenue of the Borough (exclusive of moneys received by way of grant from the government or pledged or appropriated for inv special purpose). “That a sinking fund of one pound per rentum per annum on the amount of the said Loan bo established in connection with :lic same, and (hat the amount of such sinkug fund be paid to the Pinking Fund Commissioner to be appointed for fhefc purpose.
