' The annual report of the Dunedin Jockey Cub, to be presented at the annual general meeting of members to be held at the club’s office on July 21, says:—ln submitting the annual report and statement of accounts, the committee regrets that the operations of the club for the past year l do not disclose a better result. It will bo seen that, after writing off £779 17s 6d for depreciation on the buildings, there remains a small profit of £42 12s, but it has to be remembered that to accomplish! this a reduction of £1725 was made in the stakos. The totalisator investments show! a shrinkage of £3851. There has been an increase of 21 in the membership, which • is now 400.
