Sib, —Can you suggest any reason why, in these days of supposed enlightenment, wo allow our nerves to be racked and limbs endangered by the continual nuisance caused by trolleys on footpaths? As matters we at present, every hill street is a happy hunting ground for this noisy and dangerous amusement, the stoppage of which would conduce to the safety of pedestrians who are often obliged to leave the footpaths to avoid risk of accident.
