DUNEDIN FANCIERS’ CLUB.

ANNUAL SHOW. In spite of the bitterly cold weather yesterday, the second day of the Duendin Fanciers’ Club’s annual show attracted a largo and interested attendance of exhibitors. and friends to the Brydono Hall. Ihe fine exhibition of poultry, pigeons, canaries, dogs, cats, and children’s pets proved a source of pleasure to the visitors, who eagerly compared their friends’ entries with those of other competitors. The show will be open to-day and this evening, when it will conclude. In the open variety class, for dogs of any breed, dog or 'bitch, in schedule, the first prize was won by Miss M. IT. C. Oettii’s Heirloom took the cup for the best cocker spaniel, along- with Dr M'KilJop’s prize for the best cocker dog, and F. B. and G. Bilteliff’s prize for beat working gain dog in Cass 79. A. Kidd’s Sylvan Reflector took a prize for the best cocker spaniel puppy under 12 months, and Mr J- Thompson’s Taza took an award for the opposite sex to winner of above. Jarvis Brothers’ prize went to H. C. Oottli’s Miss Trixie (best coloured cocker bitch), and C. S. Bamage’s Sylvan Sympathy took Mr J. B. MTntyre’s prize for the best black cooker bitch. Mr H. 0.
