PROHIBITION BEFORE PARTY. TO THE EDITOR. Sm-In the footnote to my last letter you misrepresent me. You say that I aigue that a Stale control vole is a vote in favour of prohibition, but that it is only the incurably biassed who will profess that belief. My argument was that a State control vote should count neither for continuance nor for prohibition, but for State control only, and that it is a votesplitting issue better out of the way to allow of a fair straight-out, Wet v. Dry, vote. You argue that a State control vote should count for continuance also. Has it not occurred to you that you may bo subiect to incurable bias yourself? I would not’ have troubled you further on the subjc“ci.-, bu 5 the misrepresentation requires correction. —I am, etc., Solicitor June IC.
