(Received June 12, at 7.5 p.m.) There have been numerous deaths from heat and 115 cases of collapse in the London streets. Work in the iron and steel furnaces in the Midlands is seriously affected. London is eating 200,000 gallons of icecream a day. The city is sweltering in a temperature of 84 degrees in the shade —the hottest June in eight years'. The heat extends throughout the whole of Europe. There have been many seizures and deaths in the steaming cities. —Reuter.
