A GENERAL RATE, under Section 77 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” of Two Shillings Stg. (2s) in the Pound (£) on tho rateable value on tho Valuation Roll of all rateable property m the Borough of Port Chalmers. 2. A SEPARATE RATE, to be known as uie Hospital Rate, under Section 41 (Sub-section 9) of “Tho Hospital and ablo Institution Act, 1909,” of sixpence Stg. ihd) m tho Pound (£) on Uie rateable value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property in the Borough of Port Chalmers. 3. WATER RATES, under Section 82 of "Tne Municipal Corporations Act, 1820,” in respect of the ordinary supply as follows: Upon all lands' and buildings to which water is supplied, tho rateable value of which on the Valuation Roll does not exceed £l2 10s, a rate of Ton Shillings Stg. (10s); exceeds £l2 10s, a rate of 5 per cent on such value. Upon all lands and buildings to which water can be, but is not, supplied, situated within 100 yards of any part of tiie waterworks, and upon all buildings used as stores or warehouses, or for any purpose other than as dwelling houses, a rate of one-half of the rules above mentioned. 4. 'A SEPARATE LKSTyTNG RATE, under Section 63 of “Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,’’ of Threepence (3d) in tho Pound (£) on tho rateable value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property in tho Borough of Port Chalmers. 5. A SANITATION FEE, under Section f 9 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” of Thirty Shillings Stg. (50s) per pan for removal of nightsoil on all properties within the Borough of Port Chalmers to which such service is given. The above Rales arc Payable in One Sum, end in each case, on the Ist day of JULY, 1925, at the Town Clerk’s Office, corner of Beach and Grey streets, Bort Chalmers, and tho additional charge of 10 per cent, provided for by Section 28 of “The Rating Amendment Act, 1920,” will bo imposed on all such Ratos which shall remain unpaid after tho 22nd day of January, 1926.
