TWO NEW ACTS. LAST NIGHTS OF BAND BOS REVUE. The announcements for the new programme at the Princess Theatre to-night give promise of a really fine show. Three new imported acts of stellar calibre make their entry, and the last five nights of the Gayle Wyer Band Box Revue Company are heralded. , The stellar offering in the vaudeville half will be that of Miss Estelle Rose, a character comedienne and impressionist of wide renown. She is said to have delightful chic, a charming personality, and a splendid repertoire of character comedy songs and stories. Her portraits are painted “au vif.” and from the reputation that precedes her she should «be a remarkable success. The second new act, also of wide repute, is Alec. Kelleway, announced as the ‘singing rover.” Singer and instrumentalist, he introduces songs of a new and welcome genre, and everywhere has proved an immense draw. The third act is that of Victoria and Frank, who come direct from the Victoria Palace Theatre. London, It is described as the act beautiful. The many admirers of the F Gayle Wyer Band Box Revue Company will regret tnat the last five nights of the company s season will be entered upon this evening, but they will find some cause for rejoicing in the announcement that Mr Wyer has assembled for the occasion a “Review of Revues, which is really a selection of the best songs dances, and comedy passages from their productions, worked up into a single show, with the comedy side predominating. The scenery, dressing, and general mounting of “The Review of Revues are said to be worthy of special mention. It will bo seen that the bill is one ot wide*variety and styling worth.
