Congratulations on the King’s sixtieth birthday began to arrive at the palace early in the morning, including messages from all over the Empire. Messages came from the Prince of Wales and Prince George, the latter being cn route to Wei-liai-wei from Shanghai. The official celebration was the trooping of the colours at the Horse Guards.
