The weather was wet in tils morning, but cleared in the afternoon. The late part of the afternoon was showery. The attendance was good under the circumstances Hie course was extremely heavy. Carrying the field along at a solid pace, Tinokaha was leading by sis lengths when the stand the second time, with Koseberry next. At the eighth hurdle Rose berry, Tinokaha, and Comical, wore racing on terms. Comical made a bad jump hero. When they straightened up for the run across the top stretch Roscbcrry was in the lead with Snake dose up. Snake challenged, but Roseberry always had the best of it and won by a length. Comical was a similar distance away, and Vagabond was fourth. Passin’ Thro' fell. lime, smin 4sec.
