A STRANGE SUICIDE
UNABLE TO PLAY FOOTBALL. LONDON, February 5. Beni;* prevented by war-time corns from continuing to play football, Harold Stoneman, aged 27 years, committed suicide by throwing himself under a tube train. The coroner, commenting on the trivial reasons for suicide®, recalled the case of a girl who killed herself because she was compelled to wear her mother’s hat to a funeral.
