WORTHLESS PICTURES
SUPPOSED OLD MASTERS. LONDON, February 1. A wealthy Englishman named Abdy, who lives in Paris, paid £50,000 for a collection of 124 supposed old masters. Experts proved that they were worthless copies, and the dealer now pleads that he did not give any guarantee.
