DEATH IN TOILET PARLOUR. DUE TO SYNCOPE. IP ns United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 7. At the inquest on Janet MAlillan, who died suddenly while being treated by a toilet operator, Florence Chatterton stated that deceased was one of her customers. Witness was treating her for th-- removal of wrinkles on the face, witness being assisted by her husband. Five minutes after the treatment began the deceased became distressed, as if in a fit. Efforts were made to revive her, and Dr Murray arrived a few minutes later, but death had then occurred. John Chatterton said the treatment would not involve much distress to the person receiving it. Dr Murray said the post-mortem showed three distinct complaints, any one of which might have a fatal result. Death was due to syncope. The coroner returned a verdict accordingly, adding that no blame was attachable to anyone.
