CAIRO, January 6. « (Received January 7, at 8.10 p.m.) Tho Council of Ministers has passed a credit for £150,000 for the purpose of increasing the Egyptian army by two battalions of infantry and a squadron of cavalry, thus enabling Ministers to employ the officers who wore expelled from tho Sudan.
