THE WEATHER.
The weather for the past Week has been hot and dry (writes our Middlemarch correspondent), with occasional blustery winds and a shower on Sunday, which did not amount to very much. Rain is badly needed, and crops are beginning to burn up with the winds. Twenty-four hours’ steady downpour would do a great deal of good.
