Measure the contents of a bottle of Thomsons’ Cordial, and you will discover that it contains 26 ounces; whereas cheap, thin cordial, in second-hand bottles, in many cases contains only 19 ounces. 3. Take one fluid ounce of Thomsons’ Cordial, thoroughly mix it with 9 fluid ounces of cold water, and you will have 10 ounces of beverage at a cost of only one and five-thirteenths of a penny; whereas, with cheap, thin mixtures, you will require four times the quantity of cordial. 4. For immediate consumption, take one bottle of Thomsons’ Cordial, thoroughly mix it with nine quart bottles of cold water, and you will obtain 10 bottles of beverage at a cost of less than fourpenco per quart bottle; whereas, with cheap, thin cordial, you will get only two bottles when diluted.
