TH® BAPTISMAL SERVICE. QUESTION OF REVISION. LONDON, November 26., The House of Clergy of the Church of England has discussed'a proposed revision of the baptismal service. One speaker described the attitude of the sponsors as a farce, declaring that they regarded their only obligation to bo the presentation of a perfectly useless mug.
The question of revision was deferred. The Dean of Bristol objected to the words in the Creed, as used in occasional services, “the resurrection of the flesh,” which, he said, were impossible to justify. The amended words, “the resurrection of the body and everlasting life after death,’’ were adopted.
While regarding the kinema as a valuable aid to education. Miss M. IX Splender, at the British National Association of Hoad Teachers, said that some films bred fear in young boys and girls. Two French professors have devised an instrument which will, take a kinema film of the beating .of the heart.
