MAMMOTH SPORTS ART UNION
Friday, December 12. 1924. will ba the last day for the purchase of Mammoth Sports Art Union Tickets from the retailors, and Wednesday, December 17, will be the lost day for obtaining tickets direct from the secretary. This means that there is very little time left for joining in the monster art union, and those who have not yet purchased tickets will need to do so without delay. As a matter of fact, there are only a few tickets left, and when these are sold no more will be issued. The value of the first prize is £IOOO. The prizes will bo drawn on December 22, and, as there are 186 prizes in alluvial gold, of a total value of £4OOO. to be distributed the event is being eagerly looked forward to by largo numbers.
—"Flap days” in London have resulted in a collection of over £1,700,000 since 1917. Of this total nearly £200,000 went in expenses.
