The following championships were awarded: Milking Shorthorns. —Bull, Washer (Okniawa); cow, Wright (Wntapu). llorefords. —Bull, Forbes, Normanhy; cow, Forbes. Red Polls. —Bull, and also heifer, Central Development Farm (Woraroa). Shorthorns—Bull and also cow, Moore Hunter Estate. Friesian heifer, O’Shea (Ohangai) ; bull, O'Shea. Ayrshire^.—Bull and also 'cow. Mills (Ilawera). Jerseys.—Bull, Ward (Tariki); cow, Horn (Ohau). Fat Sheep.—Ram. Bremer (Okniawa); ewe, with lamb at foot, Bremer, Romneys.—Ram and ewe, Voss and Sons (Longburn). Southdown. —Rams, Ross (Papnnui). Horses. —Thoroughbred rnare, with foal, Goodson (Hawora); Clydesdales—mare, Moore Hunter Estate; spring cart mare or* gelding, Patterson (Manaia), Pigs.—Berkshire boar, Hawera Hospital Board; sow, Stewart (Nonnanby). The weather was unpromising at the time of wiring. The entries for (he show are a record and the quality of tho stock is very good.
