There was no further score, and tho match ended ; New Zealand ... .„ ... 23 points. Lancashire Nil. —A. and N.Z. Cable. COMMENTS ON THE CAME. NOT A BRILLIANT EXHIBITION. LONDON, October 22. The game was not an edifying exposition of Rugby. Lancashire’s tackling was deplorably weak, the backs relying principally on line kicking. The All Blacks carried most of the scrums, but many of their passing rushes failed through Paewai’s and M’Gregor’s faulty handling. Lancashire improved in tho second half, especially the forwards, who put in some fine rallying rushes, but the defence was sound, Nepia fending them off with fine, lengthy kicks. Many of tne All Blades’ attacks were rather disorganised and lacked finish. They were below the standard they had sot in recent matches, and tho placo-kicking was weak. Svenson and Hart were the best of tho backs, and Masters, Richardson, and Stewart of the forwards.—A. and N.Z. Cable. LANCASHIRE OUTCLASSED. PLAY UNDULY VIGOROUS. LONDON, October 22. (Received Oct. 23, at 8 p.m.) Lancashire mad© a good fight in the forwards, but the home team was outdassed outside the scrums, defending throughout. The Now Zealand line was not endangered once in the first spell. After the interval the superiority of tho visitors was not so marked. Th 0 closing stages were vigorous, and the referee had to caution players on both sides.—Reuter. A NEW SCRUM FORMATION. LONDON, October 23. (Received Oct. 23, at 9 p.m.) The All Blacks are credited with secretly developing a new scrum formation which will bo more effective than the 2-3-2 formation against the 3-2-3 formation. Possibly they will introduce the new method at Twickenham against England.—Sydney Sun Cable. RESULTS TO DATE. Tho following are the results of tho All Blacks’ tour in Britain to date:—
