AMERICAN PROHIBITION
'EXTENSION TO PHILIPPINES. LIQUOR ON VESSELS ILLEGAL. Pivjmi Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. MANILA, September 19. Advices have been received stating that it is intended to extend the American Prohibition law to the Philippines. A cablegram from the American Consul-General at Hongkong notifies that the amended law providing against vessels carrying liquor has been made applicable to the Philippines. The steamer Empress of Russia arrived without any liquor on board.—Reuter.
