DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Great activity in Bank of NeW Zealands has been a feature of tho Dunedin Stock Exchange during the last two days. Six parcels of this stock were sold at 60s on Thursday, and yestoi’day two parcels were sold at that price and five at 60s 6d. On Wednesday a sale was reported at 56s 9d. After all the sales had taken plapo yesterday tho quotations remained at 60s 6d and 60s fid. New South Wales were inquired for at £4O at the beginning of the Week, and although £4O 12s 6d is now offered no business has been done. Sellers of Nationals ask Is 6d less, but buyers have not quoted. There has been a slight decrease In Urtions. A safe of Commercial Bank contributing) was reported oil Wednesday ab 24s 6a. Breweries havd been famy quiet, the only activity being in debentures: Included in (ho reported business yesterday Was the Sale of a parcel of National Insurances at 75s 6d. The quotations were 76s and 76s 3d, but no further business was done. South British aha Standards have decreased in value. Burns, Philps were quoted by sellers at 36s for a, period of two days, but they received no encouragement. P. and O. defßreeds have improved considerably, and the quotations now stand at £293 and £3OO. Cools have been steady, but buyers of Westport Stockton ordirtarys how quote at 6d le&S than was previously offered. . Dalgetys wCro quoted last Saturday at £l3 15s, and after falling back to £l3 10s, Imvo recovered, and at present stand at £l3 16s. In spite of this increased offer sellers have boon reticent. Uiey are now more frequently quoted, and improvement is shown in several lines.
